How we handle your data.
Last updated: 22 October 2026. In plain words, and kept short on purpose.
1. Who we are
AUTOHSIEB is the trading name of Lucas Farrugia Conti, a self-employed business in Malta. Contact: .
2. This website
This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising, and it has no analytics. If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you.
3. Our chat assistants
When you message a business that uses an AUTOHSIEB assistant, or our own assistant, your messages are answered by an AI. Depending on what you send, we may process:
- your messages, voice notes and photos;
- your name or profile name, and your phone number or chat ID;
- what you are looking for, for example area, budget and dates;
- appointment details, if you book one.
For client businesses, the business decides why your data is used (for example to reply and to book your appointment) and we process it for them, under a written data agreement. For our own assistant, we are responsible for the data.
4. Why we use it
- To answer your message and book your appointment.
- To pass the conversation to a person when you ask, or when the assistant cannot help.
- To keep the service working and safe.
5. Who else sees it
To run the assistant we use these companies. They process data on our instructions:
| Company | What for |
|---|---|
| Meta (WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram) | Carries your messages to and from us |
| Anthropic | The AI that reads your text and photos and writes the reply |
| OpenAI | Turns voice notes into text |
| Calendar and sheets where appointments and lead details are saved | |
| Hostinger | The server that runs the assistant (in the EU) |
| Telegram | Sends alerts to the business owner |
Some of these companies are based outside the EU, for example in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is covered by safeguards the law allows, such as standard contractual clauses.
We do not sell your data.
6. How long we keep it
Chat messages and lead details are kept for up to 12 months after your last message, then deleted. When a client business ends its service with us, we delete the data we hold and confirm it in writing.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, or object to how it is used. For a client business's chat, you can ask us or the business. Write to .
You can also complain to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC) in Malta: idpc.org.mt.
8. Talking to an AI
Our assistants tell you at the start that you are talking to an AI. You can ask for a person at any time.
